A couple days ago I was diagnosed with tonsal inflamation and swollen ear tubes, so my doctor put me on steroids to make the tubes go down. My throat feels better but I have VERY itchy scalp (no, I dont have lice) acheing legs and trouble sleeping. Could these be the side effects of the steroids?

There are no known long term side-effects. If you disagree show me some evidence. Good luck with that because they don’t exist.

One side-effect: They work! They make you recover way faster then normal.

There could me some minor physical side-effects, but they go away when you discontinue the products.
